PETALING JAYA: Many NGOs and companies have taken the initiative to provide food banks to help those affected by the pandemic and resulting movement restrictions around the Klang Valley. A web hosting service provider company, Shinjiru Technology Sdn Bhd (Shinjiru), established a food bank on July 21 at Wisma Laxton for those living in the Klang Valley.

“Shinjiru has taken the initiative to help the community by providing food items and other daily necessities,” said Shinjiru chief technology officer Shaun Lim, adding that donations were also welcome. The food bank is open during weekdays from 9am to 6pm at Wisma Laxton, Jalan Desa, Taman Desa, off Jalan Klang Lama in Kuala Lumpur. -Free Malaysia Today
