KUALA LUMPUR, September 2 – Nothing works better for a business’ success story than teamwork. A strong relationship between employees is like a foundation for a great company. When people work in one, nothing is actually impossible.
How do we reach that goal? There are plenty of ways but organising a company’s event is surely one of them. This is why Shinjiru held a bowling session for all the employees last week. Let’s look into it deeper.
For this event, Shinjiru’s Sport Recreational Club (SRC) and Human Resource (HR) team organised a fun bowling game that involved all of the employees. That was actually a great opportunity for everyone to get along with each other better, especially for new faces.

This team night out took place at Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort, a famous bowling spot in Malaysia. Once everyone arrived, they were divided into 10 groups with different members from different departments in each. They were all then asked to be in their lane afterwards, and a short brief was given by the organiser once they were all set.
All 10 groups competed to be the first three runner-ups to win medals and special trophies. Although they were competing, they still communicated well with each other. This shows how communication skills are crucial in studying competitors’ next moves. Well, if you can’t beat them, join them.
The event went smoothly for two hours. Winners were chosen by their scores; who got the highest points won. All groups fought to be on the top list but group 3, 6 and 7 did not give anyone a chance. Strong skills and great teamwork has pushed them to be on top rank.

Through this bowling event, a solid bond was formed. Everyone joined hands to appear as the winner. We hope that this spirit can be fostered in daily work activities to flourish even further.
