Are you eligible for the SME Digital Grant?

September 1, 2020 in Latest News by Diyana Rose
We are sure that this big question weighs on your mind before sending in the application for the SME Digital Grant. Worry not, Shinjiru is here to help!
The most important thing to understand is that you must be a registered small and medium enterprise (SME) before you can even consider to apply for the grant.
Remember that this is a Government initiative under the Ministry of Finance so Shinjiru has no control over your grant approval and it is subject to compliance by BSN and SME Bank.
Below is the list of requirements for your kind reference;
SME Eligibility
  • The SME is at least 60% owned by Malaysians.
  • The SME is registered under the relevant laws of Malaysia and classified as SME.
  • For SMEs which has been in operation for one (1) year, the SME is required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM100,000.00 for the first year.
  • For SMEs that have operated for more than two (2) years: minimum annual sales turnover of RM 50,000 in two (2) consecutive years.
If your SME meets all the requirement above, you can proceed to appoint us as your Service Provider and submit the completed SME Digitalisation Initiative Application Form along with the required documents to either BSN or SME Bank.
